Television personality Ryan Seacrest is listing his Napa Valley estate for $22 million. Records indicate Seacrest purchased the approximately 40-acre property for $14 million in September 2020. Architectural designer Silvia Nobili from Nobili Marqués Arquitectura, who oversaw a substantial renovation earlier this year, confirmed these details.
Situated in St. Helena, California, approximately 70 miles north of San Francisco, the estate offers sweeping views of the nearby mountains and vineyards. It is accessed through a private gated entrance and features a main residence spanning approximately 8,650 square feet with a wine cellar. Additionally, the property includes a guest cottage and a pool house.
Seacrest, aged 49, is renowned for hosting television programs such as “American Idol” and “Wheel of Fortune.” A spokesperson for Seacrest declined to comment on the property listing or the reasons behind his decision to sell.
In 2021, Seacrest disclosed to the Journal his efforts to unwind amidst his busy schedule, including planting olive trees at his Napa Valley residence with intentions to produce his own olive oil and craft wine.
Originally constructed in 2004, the St. Helena estate features a three-bedroom main house with a rustic ambiance, adorned with reclaimed wood beams, antique French limestone, and wide-plank oak floors. Pocket doors from the spacious living room open onto a terrace offering vistas across Napa Valley. The living room boasts a vaulted wood ceiling, a substantial stone fireplace, and a 1980s brass-and-leather bar imported from Italy. The wine cellar, enhanced during a recent renovation, opens onto a terrace.
Raised in Dunwoody, Georgia, Seacrest has resided in both New York and Los Angeles. He sold a residence in Beverly Hills, California, for $51 million in 2022.
The estate’s landscaped grounds, adorned with mature trees and native plants, feature an infinity-edge pool and a bocce court. As part of the renovation, the primary bedroom was enlarged, and a new guest suite was added. Architectural designer Nobili mentioned that an elaborate iron guardrail on the living room terrace was replaced with glass to enhance the panoramic views.
The listing for the property is handled by Cyd Greer from Coldwell Banker Brokers of the Valley.
