FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — The Fort Pierce Animal Adoption Center has launched an initiative offering free animal adoptions.
The offer aims to clear the shelter of 100 animals in just 100 days. The shelter is at capacity, and these animals are in search of fur-ever homes.

The adoption event started Monday, and the shelter says it applies to all animals 6 months old and up. To entice the public, the Fort Pierce Animal Adoption Center shared photos of some of the precious adoptable pets.
