Natalie Wood: Beautiful photos of the tragic Hollywood icon By Carl Seaver

Natalie Wood, born on July 20, 1938, in San Francisco, was a shining star of Hollywood’s golden age. Her acting career began when she was just four years old, and she quickly became famous with her role in “Miracle on 34th Street” (1947).

As she grew up, Wood transitioned seamlessly from a child actress to a leading lady, starring in major films like “Rebel Without a Cause” (1955) and “West Side Story” (1961). These films not only made her a household name but also earned her critical acclaim and several Academy Award nominations.

Wood’s personal life, including her marriages to actor Robert Wagner, was always in the spotlight. Her sudden passing in 1981, during a boat trip, was surrounded by mystery and made headlines around the world.
