Reason behind Justin Bieber's baby's name explained as he announces birth of first child

Justin and Hailey Bieber’s baby name has been explained after the pair announced the birth of their first child.

The celebrity couple have been married for six years, and only announced that they were pregnant for the first time in May this year, the same time that they renewed their wedding vows in Hawaii.

When they revealed the news on social media, Hailey was already six months pregnant, as they shared videos and photos of the surprise news to their millions of followers online.

However, fans have had to wait with bated breath as the exact due date of their son was never revealed to the world.

But on Friday, Justin Bieber posted on his Instagram, joyfully announcing that their baby boy was born, posting a photo of wife Hailey holding their son’s tiny foot.

The 30-year-old announced the boy’s name in the caption of the post, writing: “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.”

The unique name was also shared by Hailey, 27, on her own Instagram account, as she reposted her husband’s snap on her story, simply writing ‘Jack Blues’ towards the bottom, with a teddy bear and blue heart emoji.

Bieber’s post has currently got more than eight and a half million likes, as well as thousands of comments, though a lot of mystery surrounds one aspect of their boy – his name.

The name Jack comes from Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber, whose middle name is Jack.

Jeremy separated from Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, when they were both 18 and though Justin didn’t see his dad much growing up, the pair have since made up and now have a positive relationship with one another, leading to the sentimental naming of his son after his father.

A source previously revealed to People that the ‘Baby’ singer was ‘so excited’ to become a dad, and also that the parents had chosen the ‘perfect’ name for their child ahead of time.

Hailey Bieber previously spoke to W Magazine in July, revealing how she hid her pregnancy from the public for six months.

“I was honestly able to keep it quiet because I stayed small for a long time. I didn’t have a belly, really, until I was six months pregnant, which was when I announced it. I was able to wear big jackets and stuff,” she explained.

“I probably could have hid it until the end. But I didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly.”

She also said that it felt like she was ‘hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.’

Justin Bieber mysteriously posted the snaps on his Instagram but his wife has come quick to his support

Justin Bieber has caused a panic online among fans, following a recent post that featured photos of him crying.

The ‘Love Yourself’ star uploaded a few photos on Instagram a couple of a days ago, and two snaps showed the star in a vulnerable state.

Following his decision to end his Justice World Tour in early 2023 to focus on his health, the Canadian musician also hasn’t released any new music since 2022.

Since he began his music hiatus, even turning down the chance to perform at the 2024 Super Bowl half time show, fans have eagerly been following Bieber on social media for any updates.

Bieber was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, a condition that is caused by the same virus as chickenpox.

In a video that was uploaded to his Instagram last year, he showed himself in his most vulnerable state, being completely honest about the situation to fans, while part of his face was temporarily paralysed.

Fans of the 30-year-old shared their love for him in the comments, fully supporting the tough time he was going through and respecting his honesty.

Once again, the ‘Baby’ singer has showed himself completely vulnerable and transparent with fans, following a post put up on his account on Sunday 27 April.

In the post, Bieber can be seen performing on stage in the first snap, with the second showing a slight change in outfit, and the third showing a different angle in black and white, with fireworks behind him.

The fourth and fifth show the star donning a basketball jersey with the number eight and ‘Drew’ printed across the bottom, which is his middle name.

The sixth snap is a close-up shot of some marijuana, but the seventh and eighth reveal selfies of the star crying in a jumper and green hat.

It sparked a reaction online, with several fans showing concern for the star, though his wife, model Hailey Bieber, also left a comment.

She wrote: “A pretty crier,” with an emoji smiling with a single tear.

The comment seemed to dispel any breakup rumours that may have been flying around, with the couple closing in on six years of marriage.

Fans were quick to show support for the musician in the comments section of the post though, as one wrote: “I hope you are doing okay, i hate to see tears running down your face”

Another put: “Love you @justinbieber and God has mighty plans for you life. He’s a good father and loves you so much.”

A third said: “Justin, we are here for you brother.”

The musician has since put out two more posts up on the social media platform, a photo of the Toronto Maple Leafs, an ice hockey team, and a screenshot of the song ‘Love Me Je Je’ by Tems – both with no captions.

Logan Paul announces he’s expecting his first child and fans are all making the same joke

Logan Paul announces he’s expecting his first child and fans are all making the same joke

Fans reckon there’s a big possibility with his baby

Logan Paul has announced he’s expecting his first child and fans are all making the same joke while they congratulate the star.

The YouTuber shared the happy news to Instagram this afternoon (15 April), using loved-up snaps with his fiancée Nina Agdal.

The 29-year-old has been dating the 32-year-old model since 2022.

Agdal and Paul got engaged in 2023 and the boxer previously described her as a person who is ‘very private’ and ‘doesn’t care about the fame’.

Paul announced the couple’s pregnancy with two photos of the pair, featuring the ultrasound snaps of ‘another Paul’. He said they’re expecting ‘this Fall’.

While the American star is yet to become a dad to a little mini-me, he’s already ‘dad’ to a number of business ventures.

The bloke of course co-founded energy drink business PRIME with British YouTuber KSI who gave his ‘congrats’ in the Instagram comments.

And while many said this future child ‘is about to have the coolest parents’ and fans flooded the post with ‘congratulations’ there’s a running joke coming from others.

One user joked of the pregnancy announcement snaps of Paul and Agdal: “I’m surprised you didn’t have Prime in the photos.”

With one also saying: “Somehow he will find a way to use his new born to advertise Prime.”

Another jokingly predicted the baby’s name: “Prime Paul.”

While someone else echoed: “NAME THE KID PRIME.”

One even commented: “The baby will be breastfed Prime.”

As some carried on the joke: “Lil bro ain’t gonna drink milk, he gon drink Prime,” and offered up new business projects: “Prime baby formula coming soon.”

But while many joked about the ‘prime’ possibilities of Agdal’s pregnancy and Paul’s first child, others reckon the baby will be a ‘future WWE champion’ and just ‘can’t wait for the baby Paul content’.

Agdal previously filed a restraining order against American MMA star Dillon Danis after his constant trolling over her online.

Court documents obtained by TMZ claim he had posted about Agdal 250 times since his fight with Paul was revealed earlier last year.

Agdal claimed some of the things he has said about her are ‘despicable’. She also alleged the posts had caused her humiliation, emotional distress and reputational harm.

In response, Danis called it ‘wild’ but he ‘won’t stop f**k the system’ and called Paul ‘a dead man walking’.

Well, it seems Agdal and Paul are happily getting on with their life regardless of his trolling and are excited to become parents. Congrats both!

He wrote: “Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.

“In awe of my partner Roxy Horner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.”

The heartfelt post continued: “So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid.

“I also wore skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full-blown dad now.”

And as for the name?

Whitehall concluded the post telling his fans: “Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it.”

The comedian and model first announced they were expecting a baby earlier this year on 15 May, with posts to each of their Instagram pages showing them and their baby scan photographs.

Whitehall has previously shared the reason why he wanted to have a child while his dad is still around.

Jack said he now has to prepare for being a 'full-blown dad now'.

Instagram/@jackwhitehall

Before becoming a dad himself, Whitehall recently guest starred on Steven Bartlett’s The Diary of a CEO podcast where he made an emotional confession about his upcoming fatherhood.

Whitehall confessed he still tries to impress his father, who is ‘very honest’ and will ‘cut through everything and be very honest with me’.

He explained: “The other thing that we haven’t really touched upon and something that is very present in my mind with all of this, in terms of having a baby, in terms of trying to achieve as much as I can in my career is that I want to do all of it with him around, and obviously I know that that’s not going to be the case forever and so… that’s why.”

The Fresh Meat star then choked up on his words and says he ‘wasn’t going to do this’ as tears filled his eyes, revealing: “I wanted to have a baby because I wanted him to be around to know my child and to spend time with my kid.”

“Seeing how amazing he is with my niece, he’s the most loving person ever, so I want him to have a relationship with my kid.

“And then I wanna do all of these things and have success in my career that I can share with him and he can see these things and enjoy them.”

He finished up: “I love having him there for all of that and so yeah, I do still think a lot about impressing him. He’s approval still means a hell of a lot to me.”

Congratulations Jack and Roxy!
