Tragedy at HOLLYWOOD. It’s about Chris Pratt

The reason why Tony McFarr, a Hollywood stuntman and Chris Pratt’s longtime double, died has been found.

TMZ reported on Wednesday that Tony had died of a heart problem that was probably caused by drinking a lot.

The news source used official records from the Orange County Medical Examiner’s office in Florida.

The paperwork says that the medical examiner found that Tony’s death was caused by an irregular heartbeat, pointing out that there was a problem with his heart’s valves.

It was decided by the coroner that the stuntman’s death in May this year was caused by acute alcohol poisoning and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

COPD is the name for a group of lung diseases that make it hard to breathe.

Tony’s autopsy also showed that he had a history of drinking a lot of alcohol all at once.

Chris worked with the famous Hollywood stuntman on a number of projects, such as Jurassic World, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

TMZ reported on May 16, 2024, that Tony’s mother Donna had told them about his “unexpected and sudden” death at the age of 47.

It was May 13, 2024, and Tony had died at his home in Orlando, Florida. The cause of his death was unknown at the time.

Tony’s death made Chris, 45, feel very sad, and he wrote on Instagram, “devastated to hear about the loss of my friend and former stunt double.”

Chris talked about some of his favorite times with Tony over the years and called him “an absolute stud” and “a gentleman and professional.”

“We worked on a few movies together. We played golf, drank whiskey, smoked cigars, and stayed on set for hours and hours.

“I’ll never forget his toughness.”

Chris praised Tony’s hard work and remembered a time when “he took a nasty shot to the head…and got several staples in his head” while filming the Guardians sequel.

“He was ready to go again when he got back to work,” the actor said. “I’ll miss him. I pray for his family and friends, especially his daughter.

Tony and Chris worked together for the first time on the 2015 movie Jurassic World. That’s when they became close friends and had a successful business relationship that lasted for many years.

Tony’s first stunt job was in an episode of the police procedural drama Bones in 2011.

He also worked on well-known movies and TV shows like The Accountant, Homeland, Teen Wolf, and Captain America: Civil War.

Chris wrote about his time working with Tony on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy eight years ago in an Instagram post.

Chris shared a picture of himself and Tony McFarr in 2016 with the caption, “Here’s me and my stuntman Tony McFarr (also Tommy Harper’s stunt coordinator and our first AD Lars Winther) on set.”

TMZ said Tony’s parents, a sister, and a daughter will miss him.
